Smooth Sailin' (aka Calypso Restoration) is a family business, consisting of mother Corina, father Steve and adult sons Kai and Luke. We are a mighty team with lots of different skills. Corina has 30 years of landscaping design and gardening experience, specializing in organic methods. Steve is our heavy equipment and construction guy. Kai and Luke grew up on a homestead and farm, and they know how to work fast, hard and efficiently.
The first step is a consultation with Corina (in person or zoom or FaceTime), where we determine your vision and needs. What do you want your landscaping to look like? What's your vision? What colors do you like? Do you want super low maintenance options, or do you enjoy weeding every now and then? How to keep things looking good all year long? How about a gorgeous pond-less waterfall in your backyard

I felt lucky to have found them to work with on this project. Very professional and organized. The work flowed seamlessly and the family worked together like a real team, completing work in one day. Installed were 3 garden zones and a seating area, bordered by gorgeous natural rocks (hand-picked) and concrete retaining blocks. Following my request, Corina took special care to choose only those plants that are non-toxic to cats, my cat being the kind that will chew on any plant he encounters, indoors or out. Additionally, they removed two arbor vitae trees for me and pruned two flowering cherries, shaping the trees and letting in light. I highly recommend this local family business.
